Hypnotherapy for Sleep

Many people find that getting enough sleep or a good quality of sleep is elusive. Poor sleep can leave you feeling tired, stressed, irritable, unable to focus or think clearly and with little motivation or energy. It has also been linked to illness, lowering the immune system and increasing the risk of disease.

Sleep problems take many forms. It may be that you have trouble dropping off to sleep, or that you wake in the night or early morning. You may even feel that you sleep a lot but still feel tired because the quality of sleep is poor. When these sleep problems are happening regularly it can have a huge impact on your daily life.

Solution focused therapy can help you make changes to the areas that are impacting on your sleep and tackle any underlying issues. This may include relieving anxiety or low mood, resolving ongoing stress or lifestyle changes.

​​Alongside this, hypnosis is a wonderful tool for resetting sleep patterns. The trance state mimics REM (dream) sleep, the part of sleep where you deal with any stress and anxiety from the day so that you feel refreshed and positive when you wake in the morning.

To support your sessions, I will give you a hypnotherapy track to use at home. Listening to this as you go to sleep can help you to get to sleep more easily, stay asleep for longer and improve the quality of your sleep too.
