Calm Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy for Fears and Phobias
Effective therapy to help you take control of your fear or phobia and stop it limiting what you can do.
Specific phobias can often be relieved very quickly.
Many people have an irrational fear or phobia, often these are minor but they can develop and become more problematic. Common specific fears include: heights, flying, spiders, dogs, vomiting and germs. Even if you know the fear is irrational , it can intensify and make you extremely anxious.

General fears are often referred to by a phobia name but are different from a specific phobia. General fears such as social anxiety (social phobia) and agoraphobia ( fear of open spaces or crowded places) are more complex.

Both specific and general fears can have a significant impact and stop you from doing the things you want to do. However with hypnotherapy you can overcome your fear.
How I Help: the
3-Step Rewind
Specific Phobias

When your general stress levels are low then phobias can be dealt with very quickly using a special therapeutic method called the 3-Step Rewind which aims to remove your phobia so that you will no longer be affected by it.

The 3-Step Rewind uses NLP techniques and hypnosis to release the anxiety that is attached to a specific phobia. The process consists of 3 sessions and is gentle and calming, enabling you to feel relaxed, secure and in control of your thoughts and feelings. Using this process you can change your thinking patterns in relation to your phobia, reduce your anxiety and overcome your fear.

If you have ongoing stress or anxiety, this process is very effective when supported with some solution focused therapy sessions.
General Fears
These can be helped with a combination of approaches such as solution focused therapy and CBT. This will help you to overcome your anxiety and change your perspective on your fears, build resilience and develop new patters of behaviour. This can be supported with hypnosis which will help you to feel calmer and more confident so that you can deal more easily with those situations that you previously found difficult.
